If you like this it's always worth a shot trying similar bands me thinks. There has been a good amount of similar releases this year: Witch Mountain, High Priestess, Sinistro, Messa or even the new Lucifer could surprise you!

Hey, Sinistro's from my home town and I haven't listened to it yet :| I like this sound in small doses and with the right mood X)

I know when you go into this genre people look for repetition and monotony...but then I like to search in this genre bands like this one, that somehow manage to escape from that. This thing has a lot of interesting details and instrumentation that stood out for me (the flute solo ending is a perfect example of that). And these dudes have a rock grungy approach that makes them go right up my alley. I feel this 4 is going to be only temporary.

lol ok but you are expert on this matter. I'm still getting to know this band. On their latest now, and I can tell more of that indie/grungy aspect I was trying to explain previously (maybe its happening only on my head ahah X)

The last one took quite a while for me to appreciate fully but it's a great record not quite as good as this though. The album before this is great also man.

You're not wrong there man. There's not a whole lot of albums where the wall of distorted bass is used as a battering ram quite like this one. And then there's their way with a haunting guitar line..

Too bad these guys split up, I was hoping they had another one of these in them. This record is phenomenal.
