Treeqt, you've got it wrong. It's cool to think someone's attractive. It's even cool to tell 'em that. But it's not cool to think that someone owes you something just because you think they're attractive. It's not cool to only see someone as an object (like say, ONLY listening to Chvrches BECAUSE you think Lauren is pretty). But there's a distinct difference between offering a compliment and treating them like a sexual object. Saying Lauren's pretty is fine. Saying that's the only thing that matters about her isn't.
[/rant that no one cares about]

"Agreed saying someone is good looking is 100% sexist."
well I mean, not really, but sort of. the fact that you think it could never be logically interpreted at sexist is the troubling bit for me. women get really annoyed when they're constantly being told how good-looking, cute etc. they are. it's like they're being defined by their looks (which never happens to men) and you can't argue that that's not how you're defining them. it's worth thinking about anyway, the fact that you think a woman hearing you say how hot she is is a compliment and she should be proud of this.
