@Choccy same here, you'll suggest something else to them, they'll play it for 30 seconds, say "it's decent" and then go back to listening to The 1975. It can be pretty infuriating.

Except they know they're no better than any other band, and they really embrace that on their new record. They were never anti-pop or anti-consumerism. Also I don't get the hate for the fanbase, I mean yeah most of the other stuff they jam is shite and rarely listen to a good music suggestion but they're not like murderers or Bieber fans or anything
