What I mean is that 6/4 and 6/8 are basically the same thing. If you had a tempo of let's say 140 and played a riff in 6/4 and then a tempo of idk 100 and played it in 6/8 it would probably sound the same. Given the six notes are respectively played are all of the same value or the same value based upon the tempo.
