He did. He even said how Expire was awesome. I didn't think as much.

I like to listen without knowing the community rating and thought for sure this would be under 3.5, and was

surprised to see it at 3.9. Not really a compelling album besides the last two songs. This is even after

three listens spread out over a month...and really it just grew worse with each listen.

It's amazing listening to this since beginning recovery. It always came across as so hopeless and dark when all of a sudden all I get out of it is hope.

I don't know if it's the lyrics, the music or the mix of the two and for the first time I actually don't even want to know.

"I tried my fucking hardest but I couldn't make you feel a fucking thing."

Used to just focus on the second half. It was an absolute.

Now all I hear is "I tried my hardest."

Still an absolute but sometimes it's okay to just accept something and move on.

It's just never okay to forget.

Probably the biggest reason for why I dislike this is the undynamic vocalist. A band I can quickly think of

that also does a single note vocal style is Misery Signals, but Misery Signals uses instrumentation to keep

the music interesting. This band uses a lot of rehashed stuff that just bores me to death, but at the same

time there are some great moments. If it is the style of music that I dislike (the lighter side of

hardcore), then it is what it is.

I think he's pretty dynamic, especially for his fairly thin vocal range. He puts a lot of emotion into the performance.

Gameofmetal, I don't hear any emotion in his vocals. He makes other boring vocalists sound dynamic.
