Jay-Z is a tool and anyone who rates this higher than a 1 knows nothing about hip-hop.
This clown hasn't been relevant for 10 years.

There was a lot worse. For example, this wasn't the best rap album ever made, but it sure as hell put yeezus in its place. I think if jay hadn't become such a corporate sellout, he still to the day could make incredible music, but do to that fact, this was no better than subpar.

YEEZUS WAS A BILLION TIMES BETTER THAN THIS PIECE OF DOO-DOO.
Jay-Z only serves to defecate on the album with uncreative lyrics and lack of personality. Kanye on the other hand, at least HAS A PERSONALITY. Which is much more than what I can say about this garbage

But when the main artist is actually bringing the quality of the music down by his mere presence, and at the same time is well known for being awesome, you can't really forgive that, I can't forgive that, nor do I really want to

jay-z himself isnt known for being awesome. hes known for being a damn good businessman and successful rapper. most of his success came from him choosing great producers, and having a fantastic debut

Jay-Z's lyrics here suck balls, while on
Reasonable Doubt, The Blueprint, Vol 2 HKN, and The Black Album he was nothing short of a fantastic
lyricist

It's quite polarizing on this site though, which is why I put the 'even'
|

I like FuckWithMeYouKnowIGotIt (mostly for the production and Rick Ross though)
Tom Ford is pretty bad so I'm guessing the former is an anomaly on this album
