I've never really listened to Sabbath either. I heard one of the songs from Dehumanizer and that's about it. I checked out the first song from the new album too. It's on Spotify when I get around to it.

Most of Iron Maiden's discography is good at best. They had a good run that had totally shit out by 1990.

lol seriously? They're ten times more consistent than Queensryche that's for sure.

No, not really. It never really interested me. The very first Rush song that I heard was some lame ass song about Trees that was on the radio and it pretty much convinced me to not check them out.

That might be true, but it doesn't change anything. The albums from Fear of the Dark forward were good at best and pretty damn bad the rest of the time.

All of Maiden's post-2000 albums destroy anything Queensryche have released since Empire imo and 2 of them are considerably better than Empire. But yeah opinions...

I'm not trying to compare the two band's declines ;) They both did good to terrible things in their later years. Iron Maiden's two album experiment with a different singer does prove that if you're going to replace your long-time vocalist you need to do it with someone that can actually sing the old songs the same way. Queensryche learned from Maiden's mistake.

Well I agree with you there.

Virtual XI is the only Maiden album I'd describe as terrible though. I actually enjoy a couple of songs from The X Factor, particularly Sign of the Cross (although even that one is ten times better when sung live by Bruce).
