My Persefone discog jam ended here, either this band is really tiring to play album after album (quite possible) or they took a quality/stylistic related nosedive. Is it me or does this metalcore a little? Some sections reminded me of Protest the Hero (not necessarily a criticism as I like one PtH album but not sure it suits these guys yet).

Been a pretty long time but I'm still sure I'll lose interest in the second half. Upward Explosion and t/t are honestly the only Persefone tracks I truly dislike. Album would be so much better without those songs.

I mean, the first half is one of the greatest first half's of any album in all of music i've ever heard to me personally, this is a The Contortionist - Clairvoyant situation with me where i take 3 songs out of that album, and still give it a super high rating because the parts i do like, i LOVE till the end of time
