Some great stuff on this album, quickly becoming one of my favorite.

I was originally put off of the record, because of the first time I heard "We're in this together" on xm radio (2006). It was so starkly different from his other stuff that I didn't receive it well. Two years later, I heard "The Wretched" and "The Great Below" and the whole album just hit me in the heart so hard.

agreed Lioness, although We're in this Together is actually one of my favorites from this, the instrumentals were what actually turned me off from this initially. now I see how well they work in the context of the record

This is my favourite album by NIN. Downward spiral is a 4.5 - 5, but you really have to be in a

certain mood to appreciate that one fully. I enjoy this regardless of my mood.

5 this or die, dude, this is diverse, epic; sweet and shows a lot of skill. Is a disc crafted by nordic gods, trent reznor and chuck norris

I like to lay on my couch butt naked with my legs spread wide open and masturbate slowly while the entire album plays... Alex's 1.5 be damned

Fixed, idk why i had it at that

Although I will say that TDS still tops this. Both are classic, but that one is just something even more

Alex's has some laughable ratings, he rated with 4,5 a kid rock album and he rated with 4 a justin beiber LP. This is sweet and you know it

Don't worry, I like other Meshuggah stuff. That album just didn't sit well with me

Well, I've seen worse, and if you like destroy, erase, improve or chaosphere you are a bro. But seriously HOLY DIVER, just for don't talk to strangers and rainbow in the dark that album deserves a big 5

Rainbow in the Dark is cheesy as fuck. The record has some cool solos but to me it all feels very dated

Yeah, DEI is amazing. Holy Diver just always seemed like generic hard rock to me. I never understood how it really impacted metal or was anything special. Just bland rock tunes.
