Yeah. This one just kinda exists. The other could be also just existing but it has what it looks like an anthropomorphic figure shooting lasers from its eyes, and I like that.

Always thought the beams were being shot into the figures eyes

Maybe that's what is happening, idk, I just know it's silly and I like it.

I think this cover is gorgeous, reminds me of that scene in 2001 A Space Odyssey where he goes through the Star Gate. It's fucking dope, probably my favourite cover of theirs.

I like chaosphere's cover
|

I don't think I like any of them. Except for, maybe, their debut EP.

I like this cover a lot, fits very well with its content. Like the DEI, Chaosphere and Obzen ones too. The rest not so much.

I need to listen to more albums by these guys. I’ve listened to everything except the latest and first albums — aside from Obzen. Listened to that a bunch and love it. Solid 4.

I like contradictions. But yeah, it is passible and mostly just metallica worship.

I still don't understand the metallica comparisons. Other than jens sounding kind of like a harsher hetfield

Everything thrash is Metallica worship, as everything djent is Meshuggah worship.
|
| |
Nah. Slayer and Voivod were not metallica worship.
Also it would be good for me to edit that comment and say MOP/ AJFA in particular. Just the prog thrash period that meshuggah sound like

Well that's what I'm saying. I don't think every djent band is Meshuggah worship either. It's all just generalizations.

yea it could be Sikth/Textures worship with either more metalcore or prog metal influence

When I saw that you posted in this Meshuggah thread I was completely sure the comment was going to be composed of the letters 'D' 'E' and 'I' twice in a different order, with 'o' and 'r' in between.
I'm not sure whether to be disappointed or pleasantly surprised.
