At least you gave Battle of LA a 3 and this a 3.5. All is right in the world

Battle of LA is worst. I think I might even prefer the cover album. There are some highlights on Battle, but listening as a whole album, I don't know. The songs start to have that all sound the same feel and kinda washed out.

Disagree about Battle, easily 2nd fav for me. Gonna spin and see how it holds up, been a minute.

I've never understood the appeal of Battle. Like death said, it's got some sweet tracks but as a whole it's not too good

Battle was even my first Rage album. I remember feeling the same way about it then. It has SOME of their best stuff. I do wish I could like it more as a whole.

this and LA can't touch RATM for me, that first album nailed exactly what they were going for and everything after it was just a minor continuation that couldn't live up

Takeaway tracks from Battle are:
Testify, Guerrilla Radio, Sleep Know In The Fire, Born Of A Broken Man, and Ashes In The Fall
I can pretty much live without the rest.
