Another listen convinced me to bump to a 4.5. This is a borderline masterpiece and I would say their best album.
Any rumblings about a new album at all? Been 3 years since the last one, right?
And how good is that transition from Brother Song into Bird Sounds? Both phenomenal songs as well. The second half of this is really awesome once it grows on you.

Yeah man I am shocked by that average! Also, I re-listened to Blue Sky Noise today and it’s so goddamn good. I honestly don’t know whether it or this is their best album. They’re pretty much equally good in very different ways. BSN is just tight, phenomenal, emotional songwriting, while VW is more interesting, experimental and ambitious.

Bsn is very good, but it's got songs I really don't like such as I felt free and imaginary enemy and some really underwhelming ones like longest mile and fever dream so it's one of my least favs of theirs I think

Yeah I think The Longest Mile is one of the best tracks on BSN. I also like I Felt Free and Imaginary Enemy, but agree on Fever Dreams. That song sounds like filler to me.

Man, Suitcase is mesmerizingly beautiful. One of their best songs. And Sharp Practice kicks some serious ass. This album is so underrated. I’m teetering between 4 and 4.5.
