Listened to this for the first time about 3 months ago. But man, you REALLY gotta be in the mood for this kind of stuff to fully embrace it. These songs are just possibly too perfect to be true, I'm having trouble digesting such strong lyricism and musicianship. The inspiration for this must've been tough for this guy

I mean I heard this for the first time yesterday and this is wonderful. I never really dug that much Dylan from what I had heard (highway 61 revised and some occasional songs) but this was really great.. maybe I should check out blonde on blonde or smth, but first I'll take my time with this

I'm usually all about the sound when it comes to music, I've never been a lyrics-person. Maybe that's why I never dug bob that much and tbh I never gave a fair chance either. So I guess you're right, I didn't listen to it the way it's probably supposed to and tbh I don't even remember that much about it

Recently I've been wanting to broaden my horizons when it comes to lyrics in music and figured that this would be a great starting place. That thought surely turned out to be true heh

Album had a massive influence on my music taste when I was younger. Tangled up in Blue was my first Dylan song and it blew me away.

Meet Me in the Morning has always been one of my faves. Love that bluesy acoustic lick.

It's the weakest song on the album for me, still really good though.

Really dont know what I'd consider the weakest here. Probably You're a Big Girl Now, but it would be my fave on almost any other album.

On a song writing level which is obviously what this album is all about, Meet Me in the Morning is easily the weakest. You're a Big Girl Now is actually one of my favourites.

Used to think that but then I realised I was being dumb and that it's actually genius.

Not at all. You'll come to the same realisation one day.
