This band is one of the torch-bearers for modern indie music. AnCo, Radiohead, Modest Mouse, and a lot of the other
prevalent names are getting old and have already (most likely, I won't count out another brilliant AnCo record just yet)
maximized their potential.
When you look at the future of the genre, these guys have the best chance to make something really magnificent, and I'm
hoping they capitalize on that potential. I think their next full length, which comes out soon, I think, is kind of a make or
break record for them. I hope they'll deliver.

Totally agree with that skeamesy. They certainly have massive potential; Silherman has great pipes and is a very good lyricist, they have released quality records in a number of different styles and are clearly masters of atmosphere. Here's hoping that they can do something really amazing.

Goddammit their new cd is surpriser of the year and even better than hospice. Not sure anything beats Zelda though.
