Yeah I downloaded a 320 rip of this a while back. Sounds fine to me.

A masterpiece of the genre, dark and profound.

Excellent performance from the drumer Guy Evans who pulse the band from jazz to rock.

A buddy of mine introduced me to this band as we were driving down to a Mexican restaurant.

This is some pretty interesting stuff.

Oranges and apples. Still Life and Godbluff have great and unique sonic experience.

I prefer this one tbh, but Pawn Hearts has a more unique sound to it, I'll give you that

I agree. Pawn Hearts is probably better, but I always preferred Godbluff. Still Life is only my fourth choice. In my third place is H To He, Who Am The Only One.

I love the Godbluff and Still Life sequences in their entirety. They're well balanced between punchy streaks, agressivity parts and light, warm passages.

H To He is my 4th one, and it's a great position. A more spacey one just like the coldest, darkest Pawn Hearts (my third fave) and The Least We Can Do.

Sometimes I imagine Rob Halford is singing here. Somehow it makes sense for this album... Stellar drumming performance by the way!

PS: This and Pawn Hearts are both hard 5s, don't try to compare them
