And people defend these guys?

I don’t even understand that quote, he voted for Obama as a reaction to the shame of having Obama as president?
|
| |
Yeah i had a stroke trying to interpret it too. Ig he felt he was forced to vote for Obama bc he sided with his policies, but felt shame in voting for a black guy. Just feels like he’s trying to sound “i so smart” high IQ by overcomplicating his phrasing.

so many users used to actively dick ride these inbred rednecks like 12 years ago.
|
| |
and it's not even a case of members of this band having sketchy proclivities or sharing members with a NSBM band or being on a white power fest bill which is such the case for lots of extreme metal bands. these mfs love racism and directly mention their worldview in their material. if you're okay with going to their klan-rally ass shows or buying their t-shirt, you're at best an apologist.

kinda impossible to separate the art from the artist when the beliefs of the artist are so interwoven with the music itself. there's definitely some cool musical ideas and riffs to be found in their discography but there no defending their bullshit period.
|
| |
yeah i hardly know i thing about this band but it’s obvious the “we’re just trying to make a statement on how cruel slavery was” is bullshit. They have straight up made slavery their identity, even their name means “slave ship” in greek. And their label is called Weitenfeld, which means “enemy of the world” and is was a term coined by Nazis. Ridiculous that people defend these guys.
|
| |
these guys are proud, vehement-self proclaimed white supremacists
|
| |
also why do some of the guys in this band only go by aliases? I guess they're afraid they'll lose their jobs at 7-11 if they use real names

“ and he showed me a lot of life changing shit during my teenage years.”
Holy shit this makes me feel old
|
| |
lol I was like 15 when I joined. Definitely a sophomore in high school

"this probably needs a re-write soon to reflect the obvious racism I missed over ten years ago"
nevermind we all good. never struck me as being that naive
