I'm late to the Leprous party, I started with Malina. I listened to this 3 times already and I'm so disappointed with their new stuff now.

Heard this band for the first time in 2017, the new album Malina. I liked that so decided to get hold of this. Freakin' awesome...only thing that stops it being a 5.0 for me is Cryptogenic Desires. Einar Solberg is a fantastic vocalist...his metal shrieks are BRUTIFUL.

Glad you discovered them. Found this album in Nov 2011, fell in love. Then I started shilling the band here a ton.

Not checked Leprous' earlier material, gonna have to rectify that.
Although, does anyone find that on their later material the lead vocalist oversings a lot? Grates on me at times.

Yeah Einar over sings, and his vocal melodies aren't as good anymore.
This album easily their best. But I don't expect the band to take these kinds of risks anymore

What a goddamn powerful voice, we need more sounds like this in prog metal. Such a genuinely well rounded and unpredictable performance.

It's a shame he isn't experimenting a lot with vocal melodies on newer albums. But then again the band as a whole isn't really experimenting like they did here on Bilateral anyway, so

This really is a magical album. But I definitely dig how they're maturing through their later albums.

I don‘t know, that „I will be your GUUUUUIIIIIDEEE“ part from Mirage comes pretty close.
