killing the emperor in DB questline was a highlight of the entire game [2]
Dark Brotherhood was my favorite faction in skyrim while the Thieves Guild was best in oblivion

The DB questlines are about on par with each other but the thieves guild is incredible in oblivion, though it's also great in skyrim but feels slightly meandering in places.

The Mage Guild storyline in skyrim is so weird because it lasts like an hour tops

haha I was so surprised when the mages guild quest ended, it was so abrupt and out of nowhere.

the thieves guild storyline got so retarded but i dug the armor you got out of it
havent played oblivion in yeeears but yeah i liked it more than skyrim, quests were way better and the world felt less "static", also liked the social aspects more

Well it was kind of old. For it's time it was amazing.
And I think Skyrim has a lot more charm than people give it credit for. There was a massive amount of expectation for it though.

i loved the hell out of skyrim on my first playthrough but now every time i try to play it i know exactly what to expect, the world seems artificial as hell and i just have no incentive to sit through any of it again. kinda sad that an RPG can leave me feeling like that.
I really need to play Morrowind, i have it on xbox but never had the patience to get very far at all. also the environments from what i saw were...dull

Nothing wrong with the quests from my point of view. lot of good shit that I could see

Oblivion definitely feels warmer and has a very interesting main storyline, skyrim is darker and grittier so I can appreciate both for different reasons.

I don't even want to talk shit about Oblivion or Skyrim because I love them so much. Let us only be positive and make our lives better.

I love Oblivion and Skyrim equally, they're pretty different from each other, moreso than you might think.
I could never get past a few hours of morrowind because I had no idea what was going on or what to do, and after 100+ hours of oblivion I did pretty much everything there was to do.

"gameofmetal listen to my new goat metal album, it will make you happy"
lol that's hilarious, that really your stuff?
"plus the shivering isles expansion is like BAM a whole new 200 hours of gameplay"
holy hell yes, might be my favorite expansion of all time, beats out a lot of full games honestly
On the modern gaming thing, I always was pretty well off financially. My first big console was an xbox right when it came out. Had a super nintendo and a gameboy before of course. It was interesting because I was like the first person in my area to get an xbox.
