Do you hear the (imo huge) influence on Deafheaven?
Everytime that song keeps popping into my head, i sometimes forget that this is from Envy, since i discovered Deafheaven first

I like this band as whole, over Deafheaven, although I dig the riffs on New Bermuda.

Just started spinning this, Color of Fetters and Unrepairable Gentleness are my favorites currently, love the riffs and compositions. I can see why this is called proto-Sunbather.

I don’t like that it is called that, who started that. Need to beat them up

I mean, I could pick out a few riffs in the 2 songs I just mentioned, replace the singer with George Clark, and it would sound veeeery similar. The drumming would be the most distinct difference.

In fact, I would love to see Deafheaven do a cover on 'Unrepairable Gentleness'. George Clark singing in Japanese would slay.

I can't get this album out of my head, this is like watching DBZ back in middle school all over again. Curse you Japan.
