Wake Up is one of my favourite songs of all time. It was overplayed, but it still remains fresh.

It is. I'm annoyed I missed it being played from start to finish, uninterrupted, on Radio 1 on Tuesday.

Bumping this to a 5. There's no faults I can find with it, just classic.

Really wish I'd seen them at Reading/Leeds this year

They were damn amazing. Came on stage with Guantanamo Bay-prisoner costumes before playing Bombtrack, which is of course a great opener. My profile picture is from THAT moment

Yeah A friend who went (And who I hate for going without me ) told me about the orange prisoner jumpsuits thing. Sounded awesome and Bombtrack is definitely a great opener. This Message Edited On 12.06.08

yeah mate when that bass riff comes in.. wooh,

It's dissapointing they dont really play Take the Power Back anymore. Is there any better part of any other song to bang your head to after the "no more lies, no more lies, no more lies"....?

Don't think so.

Yea, the bass in this album is great. Really groovy.

I love the bass in the intro to Take The Power Back. Know Your Enemy has always been one of my favourite tracks on here, would be great to see it live.

That song is special when live. Morello's main riff makes the whole crowd jump and down everytime. And yeah, the lines "..Mind of a revolutionary/So clear the lane/The finger to the land of the chains/What? the land of the free?/Whoever told you that is your enemy?

Isn't it weird in fact, that there's a die-hard Elliott Smith fanboy who thinks this the best album ever made. I guess you're one of those RATM fans who's more in the metal side of music.

When I have personal problems (like now), this is probably the only album that gets me to forget everything. Just turn it loud and I'm in another world, everytime.

Ha, so that's where you got your name from. I love the "Compromise, Conformity..." section at the end of the song.

Yeah this album is great for just that. You can put it on and forgot about problems for an while. Although with Zack's lyrics it may give some people more problems to think about.

I am definitely more on the metal side, but I also like old school hiphop etc, so both sides of Rage's sound appeal to me.

Yea.. I dont listen to either metal or hip hop nearly at all, of course some exeptions (eg. Blackwater Park/Illmatic) and this is my fave album. Doesn't really make sense..

And yeah people should pay attention to Zack's lyrics.. best ones imo are in Township Rebellion and Settle for Nothing

Killing in the Name is the coolest song in the history of music.
