there are a bunch of compelling ways to hate drake, i'm sure. just please don't talk about "first world problems" or mention Degrassi
Haha sorry I thought that review was pretty hilarious, even though it wasn't really... professional
I don't hate drake, I just don't like how he approaches his music, his flow, his guests (that Lil Wayne collab is horrendous), ... Anyways please don't neg me :3

i think the last paragraph + sentence of Clayton Purdom's CP review for Cokemachineglow of Thank Me Later is my favorite thing written about drake ever

Yeah that one's pretty awesome
My review probably won't even be half as good as anything you've written but I hope you'll be able to enjoy it anyway

no but really i dont think qwe is arguing personal taste as much as he's contending that tyraelxy's
concept of supposed "real hip-hop" (his words, not mine) is based off antiquated concepts of
"authenticity" as pushed by 90s hip hop purists who think the only real shit is dudes like nas and
biggie and whatever rapping about living on the violent streets and Growin Up Hard which of
course is nonsensical reductive bullshit
edit: god another sneaky andcas edit. although yes, i would agree with qwe if he were to argue that
someone who refuses to listen to anything but old hip hop has bad taste
because i mean what silly shit is that

By the way I do like modern hip hop like Kanye's and Big Boi's latest, CunninLynguists' A Piece of Strange, Odd Future... I mean you get the idea. I said that because I am kinda frustrated about how popular Drake is while I think that he really doesn't deserve it... But yeah that's just me :]

I thought about writing a review but I can't really explain why I love it so much.
Drake is my 3rd highest played artist on Last FM because of this

This really is a great album, which surprises me because I don't like R&B. Like, at all.

I am just happy that he could find a way to express his frustration at all those years being stuck in a wheelchair. I feel the pain of relearning how to walk in each verse

also, I think Big Ghost's review is as funny as the next guy but the next time I see someone seriously think calling Drake soft is a genuine criticism I'm going to bust a nut in their eye and give them gonorrhea there.

I don't get why "Over My Dead Body" doesn't have a (featuring Chantal Kreviazuk)
