One of my favorite non-album songs. I get the fucking goosebumps from the vocal melody. I love the age in his voice as well; he sounds just as passionate, but he's learned a subtle amount of restraint, and it works very well.

Oh, and here's the scariest song he's ever written. Even more awesome than the last song. It's called "Little Birds." Listen to Jeff's description in the beginning if you can make it out; so insane and beautiful at once. I think it's one of the only new songs he wrote after In The Aeroplane.

I decided to go for a run in the countryside, found a beautiful green paddock completely empty. Go in the middle of it, overlooking the entire city on it's high perch with the radiant sun shining down and without a cloud in the sky. I lay down in the green grass and listen to this, by the time it's finished it's sunset and the whole city and sky was glimmering with orange. Without a doubt, the best musical experience I've had.
