Might be because I'm in a great mood but I'm listening to this again now and enjoying it much more than my first few spins.



Most of the songs seem to have at least one moment which is painfully cheesy and/or poorly written though. The title track has it's terrible transitions and lyrical pacing, Inception of the End has the "SACRIFICE ALL YOUR FEAR" thing looped into Oblivion, Watch the World Burn's ending is cheesy as fuck, etc.



But this is fun and I might end up bumping. Dusk Dismantled, Caustic Are the Ties That Bind, and Forsake the Dream are excellent.

Matt's just a really cheesy lyricist. He's been writing lyrics like this since Dying In Your Arms.

This isn't bad.

This album is awesome. Built to Fall and A Grey So Dark are both good songs. The only reason you idiots say that it sucks is because it actual has some melody and can also be played on the radio. This site is full of a bunch of whiners who like nothing unless it is pure screaming metal with no chance of being on the radio. I like both types of music but I at least have an open mind to everything. Haha i bet that most of you tough guys actually like the music deep inside but you have to make fun of it on here just to look cool. By the way, I am not a Trivium fanboy. I actually hated the song In Waves, but the rest of the album is really good.
