“have you people checked out the recent cover album of Bowie's Berlin-era instrumentals combined with jazz?”

I like it, an interesting jazz interpretation of Low with Steve Howe’s son on drums . . . Always thought the vocals on Be My Wife matched the piano. I love the piano on that song. It’s really getting hammered.

Yeah the piano on Be My Wife has a really interesting sound to it in the chorus, like a series of mechanical clicks.

I wish we had a review for the Howe cover album, though unlike you seem to imply it's not just Low compositions but it has, say, Neuköln (twice!) from Heroes.

Listening to A New Career In a New Town right now, it's a shame that's not on the record. Dang.

Sorry for being confusing, I'm still talking about the album of jazz-covers of Bowie's instrumentals.

too bad Dylan Howe only covered Bowie's slow instrumentals. It would be interesting to hear his jazz version of A New Career In A New Town . . . I like how the two versions of Neukoln (Night, Day) pull in the working title for Low (New Music For Night And Day).
