"Teenage Wildlife [...] has all the elements from all his best songs in every style. It's like a supersong"

Can't argue that!

I mean, funny and sad/poetic lyrics, hard grooves and chill sections, catchy as fuck chorus, high wails and low sexy croons, it's just got the whole package. I would play it if I wanted to demonstrate his entire career in 6 minutes

if the album matches this song in style and quality then can see it being his best since the similarly experimental Outside

Could easily be best since Scary Monsters I reckon

I really like Outside but that's probably just me, think I might have even rated it higher than Scary Monsters here. I rate the influence of Eno, Garson and Gabrels on it, some of my favourite Bowie collaborators

Oh I really dig Outside too, too many interludes and a bit muddled but it's a great album. Scary Monsters is my favourite Bowie tho

that vocal inflection Bowie uses at the end of the first verse in It Ain't Easy is amazing I can't stop rewinding it
