I still have the 'Show' on VHS. Last time I played it might have been while I was doing my taxes many many years ago hah when I also had a VCR hooked up. To Wish Impossible Things is wonderfuk. I absolutely love Doing the Unstuck as mentioned before.
I've really only been into the Cure since 2001, I'd say. I spent a LOT of time listening to all their old albums after BloodFlowers came out. So it feels like a lifetime for me being a fan at times hehe

The VHS version of Show features A Forest, which is the best version of that song they ever recorded, with an extra verse and a nod to Joy Division at the end. It’s a pity they didn’t include it on the CD, I had to rip it from youtube to add it to the tracklist.

Growing up in LA and listening to KROQ (and 91X down south), I thought it was a single because I would hear this all the time on those stations. But yeah you’re right, it was never actually released as a single. I never realized it till reading your comment.

@EoinCofa if Smith is to be believed, it was going to be, but they switched it with a Letter to Elise I think. I like all the singles from this, but huge blunder, in my opinion
@Zakalwe this and the new one are pretty close in quality in my eyes, but yeah, Songs just barely edges it out. This one you could play at the party without bumming everyone out, though, so it gets a few points.
