There are a couple of average tracks here that prevent this from being a perfect 5.0 but I still love the sound and direction this band is taking. Yeah, the last couple of albums have been formulaic but I happen to love the formula so it's all good. Pretty amazing that the bonus disc is practically another entire album at over 30 minutes of great stuff which is far from being filler.

Love the band, dug older material, first visit of this one,
"Iconoclast,T/t /Dehumanized/Heretic/Electric Messiah/Light Up The Night/Reign In Madness" do fully rule very hard, such great pieces from a massive superb album.
As a whole, the interplay of instruments is over the top well done, god tier musicians.

I've just found this new band called Nospun with their self released album Opus which stylistically really strikes me as if Symphony X continied this direction presented here (maybe with a mix of Calligula's Horse and DT). I'm not sure where to recommend and discuss this album on sputnik so I'll promote it here since it's a piece of brilliant classic-prog that fans of these bands will love.
