i like how every day I seem to enjoy a new EP more than the rest. yellow wins out the most often, but still, that speaks volumes about its versatility.

It's ok...some albums I don't listen to until years after they reached their peak hype. Like I just heard Kid A last summer.

Green was my favourite on first listen I think, but it was all damn great. Blue dragged SLIGHTLY and I got tired towards the end, but, cmon, 36 tracks, man.

Just finished up Orange and I love this. It's amazing the amount of quality music there is considering how many songs there are, and I'm not even half way through it all yet.

I changed from a 4.5 to a 5 just now. Reasons:
Of course, the songs are all great. Very consistent. Very well done, etc. What really sends it over the top is the concept, it's magnitude, and how it's perfectly pulled off. I think it's cool that I can sense how each EP corresponds to its color. The songs are great representations. Although I wouldn't have interpreted blue the way it's done here, I still certainly understand where they're coming from.
Along with that, this whole thing is extremely discussable, as Waior said, as all classic albums are. You could talk about creativity and the creative process, the links between visual and aural arts, the versatility required to pull this off, or the fact that this album could serve as a sort of (primitive) personality test. The fact that I like White and Indigo so much might really simply demonstrate my affinity for those colors and what they represent. If you're partial to Yellow, it may mean you're simply a more yellow-oriented person. Think of it this way - there's no quality difference among the EPs. The reason why you may prefer one to another is just a matter of who you are/what colorful mood you're in at a given time. Really, any album can be used for a test like that, but this is more explicit. It can label you a red, a green, a black, etc.
In conclusion: I think too much.

Also, my rating change single-handedly changed this from a 4.6 back to a 4.7. :D
