Perhaps the term 'classic' should be changed to something else, because I understand its implication, but I don't think people should have to wait for years in order to issue out a 5 rating for an album they so clearly love.

Yeah I've always been iffy on the term 'classic' especially if the album is brand new or relatively

This has quite a mix of ideas. I really like it, specially the big Ambient and IDM influence, but I see this nowhere near a classic but it's still an excellent album and one of the best of the year.

The thing is I choose my 5's based on that same protocol, i.e. 5 years later am I still listening etc. I had this album for about a month and a half (and while I admit that that isn't a stupendous amount of time) I purposefully held off as long I could before I reviewed and claimed it as a 5
Also, at the end of the day I don't really give a fuck what anyone thinks about my rating, but I still enjoy rattling staff members who 5 things after a day or two. /contradiction
