Someone threw an egg at the stage from probably 100 metres back and nailed Arif right in the face and exploded. He didn't miss a note, it was kickass.
haha that reminds me of one time when i saw converge and jake got hit in the face by a cup of beer thrown from the upper level of the venue.

Jacob Bannon hit with alcohol? I'm surprised he didn't burst into flames or something. But knowing how he seems to be, I'm sure he threw a tantrum.
You can hear about it on their upcoming album HEYO

it was funny as hell. after the song people in the crowd were yelling that he should beat whoever threw it's ass, and his reply was "now why would i do that? he knew i was thirsty" it was so unexpected.

Yes, I know about piracy (not that I use it by any means...), but you are still getting goods. If you pay for something that you will use in any way for your enjoyement that's still buying, isn't it?

I still buy albums. I'll buy this one, too. For me, it's OCD and liking to have something tangible. I don't see myself paying for digital goods any time soon.

123 Tyler, I think most things, even newspapers and magazines and Movies will always have a physical format.

I can see where you're coming from, Coke. If it was up to me I'd buy albums as well but in my country it's impossible to find decent record stores so it's the digital way for me.
Still, I stand by the fact that purchasing digital goods is still buying stuff.

It is still considered a purchase, but I don't think anyone is arguing that it isn't Baph. It's that that the idea of paying money for something that I can't actually hold on to or whatever just doesn't appeal to me.

I think the music industry has just changed music from being a good (a tangible record, cassette, CD, ect.) to a service ( the act of providing you with digital content for your personal use).

mainly it's OCD for me, I've spent way too much money on my CD collection. they're organized by sputnik ratings haha. one row for each rating
the 5 row has like 10 CDs, and there's three+ rows of 4s

^Dude, I have 22 000 comments and even I don't do that ;)
Classic alphabetical order will suffice.

I've bought both Kezia and Fortress and bought that Gallop Meets the Earth DVD/t-shirt deal so I might
not buy this (edit: I also bought a shirt at one of their shows, I need to stop buying PTH stuff).
paying for music is usually a very conscious decision for me. like, I bought Kezia because I thought
"hey these guys are Canadian/kickass/relatively unknown, I'll throw them some coin" but if I end up
buying Scurrilous it'll only be so that I have a copy for my sister to scratch the fuck out of it with
those dumb CD holders in the car we share

I'm so OCD with how I organize my music, it's fucking ridiculous. My records are organized by genre. It's really subjective but it's fun deciding where certain albums will go, you know, which genres they bridge etc.

Hm...not liking this as much as I thought I would

I used to have about ten PTH shirts, plus I still have their old 7" and a bunch of old UO samplers.
I agree about digital commodities, but like I said, I've got OCD.

woah there that's a little excessive. you clearly like (liked?) these guys much more than I do, and they're one of my favourite metal bands

It was a long time ago, like 8 years ago when they were just coming out and I was a 16 year old brat who bought shirts at every show, and because they played like, once or twice a month, that meant a lot of shirts.
