it's a mix of both post-black and depressive black metal, the alcest influence in the riffs and style of playing here is beyond obvious

alright wiz i'll try it...but that album came out around the same time as this one, what i was looking for was older stuff
Ahhhh I didn't know you were looking for older stuff, can't help ya there. All this shoegazey bm is a direct influence from bands like Paysage d'Hiver and quite a few of the Cascadian bm bands that utilize a very fuzzy, hypnotic bm approach.
