Keep in mind that it's stupidly overrated

definitely great relaxation music, cause its not too overpowering but enough for some serious mental stimulation, the song black hills owns souls

I loved this and the album before was pretty good too. Although should I even bother with the debut?

It's worth your time to check it out. It's some solid stuff, but it's much more fast paced and a few notches more aggressive than this or CDC. Same kind of tone and a bit more of a metal songwriting attitude.

maryland at the sonar. it was my bands first out of state show so it was just kind of a big deal to us. and then to just watch a band so ridiculously good live after our set just ruled.

The decision to use fade-out endings on three consecutive songs "Secret Earth", "Gallows", and "Origin of Species" is one that baffles me. It ruins the flow and is just plain lazy, which is incredibly odd in an otherwise meticulously constructed album.

When I saw them live in NYC they played all three of those songs. Chris mentioned that Gallows was originally not intended to have a fadeout ending, but something happened and they had to do it that way. They then played the "intended" version of the song which ended with a killer jam/solo which was way better than the album version. I just wish the album was this way!
