ive listened to flourishing 4 times through, terribl imo opinion, i think i gave it a 3.5/5 or something like, im getting a really poser feeling about the album for some reason, no offense im sure their trying but it doesnt work for me at all, desolate shrine was better than floushing
i don't know man i'd say keep listening to it -- we seem to have similar taste in dm (Desolate Shrine is probably my #3 for the year behind this and Flourishing). The mix of old-school industrial and post-hardcore with like a noise-rock aesthetic inside of death/grind creates this really unique atmosphere on that album and it's not really like anything else I've heard.

this album is pretty unique, i havent found anything that up to par with it. the guitar usage and drums are insurpasable. ive heard other bands that sound slightly similar like Flourishing's "sum of all...." but imo that fail in comparison. some will agree with, some will disagree, but i strongly stand behind that opinion.
also Baring Teeth's new album may be kinda similar, but again i cant recommend anything greater than this that ive heard

you definately can't absorb this all in one listen. I've listened to the whole album, literally over 50 times and it grows with each listen. I can honestly say if I listened to it at this very moment it would sound better than any other times I've heard it. That has never happened to me with any other album.

So just listened to this a couple of times, not gonna lie it all kinda blended together into like 1 song....it was a truly awesome bonecrushing song though. did you guys have that issue with this?
