BTW, John and Jimmy is great, but Martin Atchet is a stroke of genius.

Albums solid after the first couple spins but it just sounds like good hardcore...can't find any hyperbole tho...

huh? they're really easy to make out

I've always had trouble understanding lyrics, especially screamed. Many I can make out but not all

What's up with the low ratings on this page?
|
| |
this is the best melodic hardcore album i've ever listened to, and it's still just pretty good. there are moments but i get really tired of the pacing of this style after a while.
|
| |
I'm not massively feeling it. Is it a grower?
|
| |
not particularly. i mean almost every album sounds better after a few listens but it isn't like this takes a long time to "get" or whatever people mean when they say something is a grower.

It's definitely worth taking at least a little time to sit down with the lyrics while listening. Grower... I dunno, maybe. It was pretty immediate for me, but my appreciation of it grew massively after studying the lyrics.

yeah you have to know the words, but i can understan them just fine without reading. so idk?

Yeah, they're definitely very clear on 'Witness'. I honestly don't see how someone couldn't understand them

i never don't want to listen to this. melodic hardcore can definitely be boring (midnight in america is pretty boring at times) but this doesn't bore me in the least. the overall concept of this album creates such a strong image in my head that i can't imagine being bored by it.
