It was earlier in their career but not as much towards the end. Think it became more t/t and Minor Prophets

oh damn i just remembered doing my first ever stage dive at their farewell tour to When Everything Falls haha. i remember thinking during one of their shows (probably the Enter Shikari tour, still have the ticket from that one) that i didn't understand why Stephen sang in such a high register because, when he sang an octave lower, he had so much more control over his voice. anyway, just spun this again recently and i honestly can't believe that this still holds up for me. and i still hear Dog Like Vultures on one of the rock radio stations in my area from time to time and it still bangs.

I think my first dive was at a haste the day show too IIRC but it was in like 06

I went to Emmure show and stage dived for the first time during Terror and got kicked out. Left a bigger fan of Terror than Emmure that night lol

wow my first stage-dive was at an Emmure show also! What year was yours. I cracked my head open and suffered severe brain-damage because everyone was too busy on their phones to catch me during the breakdown. Also Frankie had just gotten electrocuted. It was quite a night I'm sure!

art the show I went to I think was 09 w After the Burial and Miss May I. Really strange lineup looking back lol. Also holy shit that's a hell of an injury/story. I feel like that would be far more common today. Frankie getting electrocuted too? Lmao

massive props for seeing ATB back then. I'm jealous seriously. Never gave a shit about MMI
And no, as cool as that would have been I was not there when Frankie was electrocuted... That was a joke. I wish I was actually there for that lol

hell yeah first stage dive memories lmao. Mine was at a TdWP show when they were showcasing the first Zombie EP before it released, got a shitty YouTube vid of me doing it which I cherish
This album is such a gem. Saying it’s watered down ABR or something completely discounts how incredibly well written the hooks (vocals/guitar) and harmonies are throughout. Not comparable as a whole imo

that TDWP show was wild btw. Them and BMTH had some brutal shows at the time, will never forget those experiences

…also sorry to blow this thread up but in reference to comments- miss may I opened for TDWP ironically lol, their drummer stole that portion of the show. Dude came out acting like a drum tech and ended up giving a gnarly drum solo for a solid 5 min. Venue was rocking

I remember one time I saw MMI and it was a giant snooze fest except they played Hero With No Name and at that breakdown part at 2 mins when he’s playing the ride, they killed the lights and just put a spotlight on the drummer and they were muted between chugs and so it would be nothing but ride cutting through the entire venue and it was sick af
