too true bloc lad. Sumerian didn't let me down with this one. I prefer it to Rareform overall, some bloody delicious leads in this and i generally prefer the melodic nature of this.

Same here, I am really glad these guys added more melody because they really excel at it.
Can't pick a better album between this or Rareform yet, but so far the two are awfully close.

Album is quite frankly disappointing, especially if you're a fan of their older material.

The more I listen to this CD the more gems I find, it's really great. I'm surprised there is such a definitive love and hate for this, this is pretty much the most accessible death metal gets..(could be off the mark on death metal, and I'm probably going to get flamed if it's not)

hey pretty cool generic metalcore band album, but not a pretty cool After the Burial album (save for
like 2 or 3 songs). another disappointment for 2010. strangely, it's not even the clean vocals that
ruins this album. ID is more cohesive than Rareform, but this is just boring stick-to-the-books
metalcore with some djent.
also mon visage at this:
"but unlike their retarded cousin the bro-down, these actually use some thoughtful structure and
complicated rhythms."
thoughtful structure? wat. complicated rhythms? double wat. the breakdowns here are as simple as the
rest of the songwriting.
and no to the guy above saying this is death metal. not even close hahah.

the cleans blow, the guitarist still rip when there not junheads.
Plus the new vocalist is generic as anything. The old guy wasn't good but it gave the band a slightly more unique
sound which is a plus in this genre.
