Lonesome Crowded West has some of their best songs and is definitely the more ambitious of the two, but with its ambition is also noodles around a little bit. The Moon And Antarctica is much more cohesive and practically begs to be listened to as a full album. Songs like "The Cold Part" or "Wild Pack of Family Dogs" or "What People of Made Of" don't work as well unless you have the context of the rest of the album.
