Such a great band. Michael Gira seems like a genius to me! I have no idea which Swans I would consider my favorite. The way he writes music is so intense and eloquent at the same time. I hope to one day see Swans live and meet Michael Gira and tell him how much his music has meant to me over that past 25 years.

but srly this is the best place you can start with them, it's a good mixture of their earlier, krushng material with the more folky/ambient stuff they would do later on
