Incunabula means "the earliest stages or first traces in the development of anything" in Latin.
Amber is the universal color of the second light going either way on a traffic light, which was first implemented in the UK.
Tri Repetae is obvious with the use of "Tri" notating three.
Chiastic Slide is a reference to a chiasmus which is two opposite parallels which is in 4 parts and forms a structure like this.
LP5 is obvious.
Confield has several tracks that use VI in the name.
Untilted has 8 tracks and has 8 letters in the word 'untilted'. It's catalogue numer is also Warp 180 which is a reference to 180 degrees which would be a flat plane and "untilted".
Quaristice is possible a reference to the intersection points of 4 squares http://images.huffingtonpost.com/2012-11-06-fruit-FourSquare.jpg. It's catalogue numer is also Warp 333 which is 3+3+3=9
Oversteps is a reference to the idea that 10 doesn't actually exist in a base 10 number system, it only really goes 0-9 before it repeats nomenclature, so Oversteps is a return to 0, or the beginning (also the song O=0 is a reference to this). Also Move of Ten.
And of course Exai is XI which is 11.
thats all i got so far

and also you gotta realize that LP5 was named by the fans, it is officially an untitled album (i have the CD, it has nothing on it other than autechre and prod by booth/brown)

Album Rating: 4.5
yes, that's truth! also all of the references to four wrt Quaristice
because quadrange was four eps
because there were four quaristice era releases (q proper, versions, quadrange, and digital ex)

also hilariously enough LP5 was released in the US by trent reznor's Nothing label
i literally just realized that that was probably on purpose looking at this CD

Album Rating: 5.0
its so much fun tbh i spend a lot of free time thinking about it
|
| |
a trve fan < 3 btw out of curiosity what would ya rate this?
|
| |
Album Rating: 4.5
this is a weird album to rate, since it isn;t an album. or at least it isn't a coherent statement put out by booth and brown. it's an experience
so yeah 4.5. The official tracklisting gets a 4, versions gets a 4.2ish, quadrange is a pain in the ass to listen to so it gets a 3, but if you want to take it as an experience this might be a 5.
but 4.5 for now.
