i wonder if they care that they've used the same cover for three straight albums

I know people wont agree but i thought 10 thousand fist was really well done, but i thought they tried to sound too mainstream on indestructible and it wasn't their best work. Asylum is shaping to be pretty darn good.

Indestructible was full of good ideas ruined by a lot of bad ideas, like having a solo in every god damn song. It felt so out of place, most of them didn't fit the song at all.
Which is a shame because the solo in stricken is glorious.

Couldn't agree more about your comment. 10,000 fists was their best album and Indestructible was their worst to me. This however puts them back on track and sub-par with the Sickness almost. Still really annoyed to see the score so low for this just cuz its mainstream doesn't make it bad.

6cw26 I like you :D
Now back on topic...Guarded is easily Disturbed's best song.

Guarded is not Disturbed's best song. Overburdened easily destroys it and a lot of songs on Indestructible and even Asylum are better.

I already figured your review would be featured instead of Jared's, and you completely deserve it Magnus. I haven't been bothered to check out the album yet, but I feel I would probably more or less agree with what you wrote here. It's a pretty late response, but I've been off for a few days.

I already figured your review would be featured instead of Jared's haha, how come? But thanks man. I'm not sure what you'd think of it, but I do recommend at least giving it a try (plus, keep in mind that a bunch of people have already said the album is a grower)

Well, as you already read there, I found it to be a bit on the harsh side, and yours are usually very objective, so naturally I presumed the mods would choose to feature yours.
I haven't heard any of their albums in full save Indestructible, actually, but I enjoyed that.

Well Indestrutible is my favorite from these guys' catalogue, but this (as my rating suggest) isn't bad either. But, there is a wide array of differing opinions on which is the band's best album. Still, you should give thisa go when you find the time/motivation.
Also, thanks for the compliment, it's greatly appreciated.

So when is ur review for Poseidon coming?

Songs between this and indestructible are really interchangeable. If you combine the best songs from the two you might get a worthy album and a pleasant listening experience.
1.Inside The Fire
2.The Animal
3.The Curse
4.Torn
5.Crucified
6.The Night
7.Innocence
8.Haunted
9.Asylum
10.Indestrucible
