Kerplunk is just a fun good one. They were building up to their mainstream success (until this album killed it for a moment). I also liked that story that was included into the Kerplunk liner notes I lost my cd, but it was basically a horror story (as a joke, I presume) but it was like I met GreenDay a lot of fatalities.
1039 has at the library and Judge's Daughter and 401 in your cofeemaker. Even Bad Religion (not sure if it was Brett or Greg) but said around the early 2000's or when I read it at least GreenDay put out one good album, the first one. Probably just a throwaway comment, but I remember reading that.

Checked out this and it was really good. Definitely need more time with it to let it marinate, but developing some righteous flavor. This is a certified scrumdiddly

big agree this and ai should flip flop but ai had a pretty long crawl up to a 3.5 itself. was a 3.4 for so long
i jammed ai for the first time in a while today and outside of jesus of suburbia and whatsername it hasnt aged all that great. i like everything on it still but its mostly just pretty good. was the best album of all time to me when i was like 13 years old tho lol

I went through a phase in my 20's where I would have agreed with you on AI not aging great but it's really gone up in my estimation over the past couple of years, to the point where it's a stone cold classic for me again.

absolutely not. half of AI has always been mid city and the other half aged like milk. Jesus of Suburbia and Letterbomb are all you really need from it
