My favorite would either be Fancy or Show Me A Good Time, with Over, Find Your Love, and Thank Me Now not too far behind.

You can't shit on someone's music just because they were in Degrassi. I actually really like this album. I was a skeptic at first. Drake brings a humanity that's been missing from hip-hop. He sums up his role in the game in the line "The game needed life, I put my heart in it." Hip-hop is dying because of the attitude that just because someone is on Degrassi they are shit lyrically. Drake brings layers and layers of human. He lets us dissect his insecurities. I'm embracing it.

I like the silence inbetween the tracks the most. This album is pretty bad

That's not why we hate it. It's pretentious and choppy. Unrelatable.
Drake brings a humanity that's been missing from hip-hop.
You obviously don't listen to a lot of hip-hop.

No, it's dying because of all the crappy fads - each one gets more annoying and replaceable.
"The game needed life, I put my heart in it."
Yeah that's about the exact opposite of what he does. "I'mma do me." Yay, you can be yourself. Welcome to hip-hop 101. You got a single basic down, zomfglmao.
Drake brings layers and layers of human. He lets us dissect his insecurities.
That's what hip-hop is about, but he doesn't do that. This record is beyond superficial, shallow, and trite.
Also, wtf is up with his flow? I mean it was okay on So Far Gone but this is just... ew.

Gave it a proper listen. Still fucking sucks and in no way lives up to the hype. I mean seriously, some of the beats were made on fucking Fruity Loops. That's cool and all when you're 18 but not what belongs on a major debut album with this amount of hype.

So most of my rap friends are going bonkers over Karaoke and I don't know why, sounds really boring... then again they may be inspired by lines like, "cause I was only tryingna get ahead" losers...
Umm as for this album, I like (read: tolerate) tracks 3 through 6, but everything else is wayyy too annoying, good review, it's around a 2.

Goddamnit this album is painful to listen to. Went into this with an open mind but so far halfway through this shit is terrible. I don't think I have it in me to listen to the second half.

Hey, I am actually liking this album! I know the hardcore rap crowd is probably going to hate it (as is evident by the comments here) but as someone above pointed out, this might appeal more to "popish" crowd. Guess I'm one of those.
Btw, I am also enjoying all the comments here. You guys made me laugh!
