Alright I'll give it another try some time this week. I've been on a post rock frenzy lately haha

I'm not really a post-rock guy but fair enough. I hope you like it dude, it's not Floyd's best as some would say but Time is regardless one of the best songs ever.

Yea many people have said that and I remember just not seeing the hype behind it. Another listen would do.

Yeah you kinda have to view it as one flowing piece of work rather than just ten songs. If you do that it really does help, that's the way it was intended to be.

Alright man I'll listen to it all the way through then. I do that with most of the new stuff I try anyway.

Sick as, I'd advise getting the lyrics up too and reading along. ESPECIALLY for Time.

Haha ok, up to you man. What do you think of Floyd's vocals?

Time has probably the best lyrics of any song ever.

I was wondering when you'd come back avon hahah. I'd probably go for the lyrics to WYWH (song, not album) as my favourite ever but Time is definitely up there. Not to mention Time has pretty much the best vocal performance ever, from Gilmour AND Wright.

Rowan, They're really good vocals. Enjoyed them much more than Yes' vocals. Not comparing them,
they're just another titan prog group from the time I'm throwing out there.

Haha I haven't listened to Yes yet so it's all good. Dunno if you know this or not but every member of Floyd contributed lead vocals at some point (although the drummer barely did) so at any one point there's like three lead vocalists on one of their albums.

That's pretty cool that they can all sing. I've only heard a little KC, Yes, and PF and Prog is my favorite genre so I'm guilty too haha

I've pretty much only heard Floyd and a bit of Jethro Tull and King Crimson, so yeah I'm pretty behind on that one. The reason I asked about the vocals is because most people are generally in agreement that Roger Waters (the bassist) is a pretty awful singer. He's one godly lyric writer and came up with some good basslines but for the most part his vocals suck and can be a turn-off. But on the other hand, Gilmour (the guitarist) and Wright (the keyboardist) are my two favourite singers ever so they make up for it.
