The '87 self titled album is a strong power metal album, really Titan, gorgeous stuff, Street ready was them trying to get onto that MTV money train, mixing Heay Metal and Hard Rock and I think it's a fantastic album. The stuff they released 15 years ago though, "World Asylum", not really a fan of it.

The older i get, and the more I jam this, the more I realize how perfect it is. Classic record.

Thank you BigHans for being a true bro and turning me on to October Rust 8 years ago.

Say no more, old-timer. But that is why this isn't 5 overall.

...I'm not quite sure why I haven't 5'd this. I even played in a band pretty much trying to rip off these guys.

Ah shit.. I wonder how Titan feels about October Rust then? Uh oh.

If I ever wanted doom and gloom these were the guys..

Summer breeze buddy! Style over substance, little too much mood? I get it, those four tracks you listed are the most straight forward numbers.

That's true though Titan, I remember the sound these guys created and how Life of Agony followed in River Runs Red, it was good but they sound so weird today.

summer breeze is awful imo Jeff, always has been.......and October Rust made for a great beer coaster......may have used it as a 'platform' for festivities in my younger days too haha.....it was one of a few albums on a short list that i was pissed off that i spent money on it

and yes dewinged, i saw these guys on the same tour with life of agony.....want to say around river runs red era.....great record by the way
