Yeah Burst Apart is feeling very inferior to this, just missing a lot of elements

Hopefully for the next album they can bring the emotion (probably not as hard as this album, I don't know if that's even possible, but still) while doing some cool new styles

I'm hoping for a combo of this + the dreamy atmosphere of Undersea + natural progression. I predict a hard 4.5.

@Rowan that start of that track reminds me of Strawberry Fields Forever. Ruled ofc.

Gotta jam Undersea after Burst Apart yeah

Apparently that song has the same melody as Bear? I didn't notice that

Yeah man it does. Several songs on this have recurring musical themes (Bear and Epilogue for example).

Makes sense. Wish they'd included that piece as part of this

Yeah sounds familiar, wonder what the reference means in context of this album's story though? hmmmmm so many layers

You think what you had to analyse was depressing, try watching Schindler's List, The House of Sand and Fog (check it out btw) and reading The Book Thief in one course

Also Undersea is amazing, almost trip-hoppy

Hope they follow this path

Damn, what was the suicide rate in your class like?

I presume he was drawing comparisons with the manic depressive states of Plath and the bird who inspired the record.

No suicides thankfully although it wasn't only the girls who were openly crying during Schinder's List and House

Like the last 20 minutes or so of House, holy fucking shit dude its like Requiem for a Dream without the drugs

I can imagine. I have a confession though; I've never seen Schindlers List...

Endless Ladder was always the weak point for me, it never really justified its length.. Thar said, i havent jammed Undersea in

forever
