it makes no sense for anyone to call his lyrics horrible, though i hear it all the time. some of the

references he makes to historical figures/events are incredibly clever. the lyrics posted on their

site even have links to articles for any part that might not be understood. it's cool to see a band

that puts so much thought into their messages.

because some people don't realize that he and the rest of the band write collaboratively and that they means every word of all of these songs and that he's not trying to write poetry, he fronts a hardcore punk band.

read/watch some interviews proggy, these guys are the real deal. serious, intelligent, political and personal hardcore.

hmmm i just may, im really getting into this type of stuff. So far though I kinda gotta be a fag and go with sputnik, I think Defeater is prolly the best band ive heard from this style so far. as sputnikcliche as that sounds. This interests me though.
