Can someone who's good with time signatures try to figure out what time signature(s) the intro riff to Your Sword Vs. My Dagger is in? It sounds like a 5/8 bar, a 6/8 bar, a 5/8 bar, a 6/8 bar, and then four fast 4/4 bars, but I'm not certain. It has always baffled me.

Sweet. The tempo in the riff doesn't change so I didn't know whether the part after the 5/8 and 6/8 bars would still be considered 4/4. Don't know if 4/8 is an actual time signature.

Nah the tempo doesn’t need to shift for the time to change. Plus a 5 and 6 add up to 11 and two 4/4 bars do not lol
