I didn't think this was really the kind of band for me, but Medicate had some real nice lead guitar and it was catchy, so sometime I will definitely try some more of this.

I don't understand all the hate that Decemberunderground receives. I think it is a great and balanced album. The whole album has a great feel to it and is very inspired and creative. In fact I like it more then STS AoD and BSitSS. Sure they tried a whole new sound maybe i'm just in the minority of people who loved it.

By the way andcas you also just made me think less of DU. I loved kill caustic and affliction... and hour ago. Now that you point out his screams suck I realized they do haha. Oh well I still love DU.

yeah its good but the chorus doesnt match the verses. Awkward. I have the same problem with cold hands. I love the guitar in cold hands but the chorus.. it just sucks.

Started listening to this again today after hating it, and now it's definitely starting to grow on me. Looking like a 3.5 atm.

I checked this album out, then went back to "classic" A.F.I after falling in love with the band. I enjoy this one just as much as Sing The Sorrow, yes the cover might not be the best choice but the music speaks for it's self.

So I just read my comments up there and realized my views have really changed. DU lacks the staying power that the others posses. STS is by far the best AFI album. Its just so atmospheric and amazing. BSitSS is great as well. BUT DU beats out AoD. All Holows Ep is terrific and beats both black sails and AoD.
