Upon first listen: the opener blew my mind and The Big Ship is great too
Rest of this may need to grow

Everything after the first two tracks is perfection. One of the best albums ever.

So you don't like Sky Saw?
Shit that one stood out the most to me

No I really like the first two tracks as well, but they’re more angular and inaccessible compared to the rest. I feel like the groove and atmosphere is really established with track 3 and onwards.

sky saw is amazing. maybe my fav
|

"the big ship" is the stunner. "sky saw"'s aight. mostly into the ambient stuff on here. not a fan of his voice

Yeah I wonder if this would’ve been more successful if there was a really great singer for the art pop songs, and the recording/production was better.

I don't mind Brian voice that much, and I think it actually adds to the charm of I'll Come Running

Yeah I don't mind his voice either, just heard that observation on the Rolling Stone 500 podcast a while ago and thought it was interesting.

It's lovely Frippmusic!

Some Track TM are ambient but the album as a whole nah
