Wow, this the first newer album that I have listened to by Poison the Well since You Come Before You...and I haven't even listened to that album in it seems over 4 years. Man, they have really come along way since the beginning. I am digging this quite a bit.

Yeah, I am listening to it again after just listening to it. I like how all their clean parts aren't as whiny and screamo as they used to be. I dig this direction better, but the old albums hold a special place in my heart. And the guitars are great, "Sparks It Will Rain" and "Cinema" have a Cave In kind of feel too.

The one and only problem with this album is that it slows down too frequently and regularly.

Agreed. I would be his friend, but I'm pretty sure the drummer in my band pissed him off too much (when we played a show with them and Throwdown) by telling him he loved the cover of Baby Got Back.

hahahah, That's too bad, Inveigh. Why does this album suck? It's actually well put together and his clean vocals sound better than ever.

Yeah, I did. It is quite atrocious, but you know. If he truly loves those albums...than, I guess that's sad.

yeah, to each their own. I just hate when people say things suck, but don't give any reason why (to me that's a troll move). If I made a comment on an album that I didn't like, I'd at least give a little insight into my reasoning.

I am the same way, inveigh. YCBY is just as radio friendly as Tropic Rot actually. But you know, to each their own. Plus, Iluvatar, you raise a good point.
